Last week, I as at a major British and European car show with the Volga, and I had an attractive woman who worked for another classic car market magazine - Just Cars come up to me and want to interview me and put it on video.
I had my uniform on, so I thought, what the heck why not...

I was going to put on a mock Russian accent, but I would not have been able to keep a straight face, so you are stuck with my aussie accent

anyway, the result is here
http://www.justauto.com.au/justcars/...b-dcbdea2175f2

PS It was worth polishing the car well before the show ;-)

Hello everyone,
My name is Igor, I am Russian Canadian. Born in Moscow, raised in Vladimir, and for the last 8 years living in Canada (Vancouver, BC, and then Guelph, Ontario). I came across this forum yesterday when browsing USSR cars-related stuff. I'm also on US Lada forum, as I'm more of a Lada-type of guy:) Our first family car was Lada 21061. I am currently in Russia, in my hometown, trying to stay here as long as possible, because for those 8 years of abscence I accumulated a fair bit of homesickness:) I was always into cars (even though I'm not a mechanic or anything like that) and dreamt of owning something like a car tuning shop, and since I found out that there are people in USA and Canada, who are interested in Russian cars, I started having another version of this dream - a dealership located in USA that sells used Russian cars. Last December I shipped one Lada 21063 to a guy in Indiana, who is now having fun with it, and I'd love to continue. After all, if nowadays (thanks to what is called Globalization) we can buy the same food and same clothes all over the world, why don't we have access to Russian cars outside of Russia!:) Hope I'll find like-minded individuals here!;)

I recently acquired a 460+ page GAZ 21 Technical Manual in excellent condition, all in original English.
A sample of some initial scanned pages is attached.
All pages are white with black text and drawings
I am currently looking to reproduce this as a new book with all pages clean and have the book professionally bound. Final pages will be clean without any scanned underlying pages appearing at the edge.
In determining a potential print run and costs, any idea of copies that a market out there may demand over the next couple of years and the price most buyers may be willing to pay e.g. if I was to put it up on eBay?
Soft or hard cover - preference? hard cover would increase the cost by about $40 per copy
